Past Events

The VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) actively participates in Memorial Day ceremonies by organizing events like flag placement, memorial services, parades, and educational programs. They engage with their communities to promote awareness and pay tribute to fallen veterans through wreath-laying ceremonies and support for grieving families.

A Camo Campfire and Cocoa event is a gathering typically organized by veterans' organizations or communities to provide a relaxed and social atmosphere for veterans and their families. During these events, attendees often wear camouflage attire, gather around a campfire, and enjoy hot cocoa and other refreshments. It's an opportunity for veterans to connect, share stories, and build camaraderie while enjoying the outdoors in a cozy and comforting setting.

Patriot Day is observed on September 11th in the United States to commemorate the tragic events of September 11, 2001. It is a day of remembrance for the nearly 3,000 lives lost in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Flight 93. Patriot Day serves as a tribute to the victims, as well as a reminder of the resilience and unity of the American people in the face of adversity. It is a time for reflection, acts of kindness, and a renewed commitment to the principles of freedom, democracy, and national unity.
